Tickets for Mount Vesuvius: official prices and online offers

Access to the Gran Cono is by pre-booked ticket with a time slot, and the Park sells it online only. The official price comes first, then the tickets with transport and the combined offers of a booking partner, with what each one adds.

Official tickets: from 10 €, online only, with a time slot

The Park sells the Gran Cono ticket online only, on vesuviopark.vivaticket.it, and you choose the day and the time of your hike. Its page shows the full ticket as “from 10 €” (reduced 8 €) in the ticket section and as 11.68 € (reduced 9.55 €) in its notice about sellers; it does not say what the difference is. The Park's warning, in its words: “Il sito vesuviopark.vivaticket.it è l'unico venditore autorizzato alla vendita dei biglietti (€ 11,68 intero, € 9,55 ridotto). Diffidare di altri rivenditori non autorizzati!” (translation ours: the site vesuviopark.vivaticket.it is the only authorised seller of tickets; beware of other, unauthorised resellers). The cards below are sold by our partner Tiqets, a third party: it is not the Park, and it sets its own prices and conditions, so read them before you buy.

Prices read on the Park's page on 23 October 2026. The page does not say what accounts for the difference between the two pairs of prices; presale rights are mentioned only in the refund procedure. Payment is by credit card, and the card holder registers with the date and time of the hike. On a standard ticket you may enter from 120 minutes before to 120 minutes after the time on the ticket; on a last-minute ticket, from 30 minutes before to 15 minutes after, always within the opening limit. Last-minute tickets (10 per slot) go on sale 30 minutes before the slot, only from the wifi near the entrance, and are named. The Park's page does not say that tickets bought from other sellers follow its refund rules.
